The concept of the monument was conceived by a group of veterans that wanted to honor other Arizona veterans of the past wars.

We believe that it is important that we never forget that "Freedom is Not Free" and that many Arizona Veterans dedicated and sacrificed their mind, body and lives for the belief in Freedom. Spouses, parents, family members and friends made sacrifices in support of their military loved ones.

This monument, was created to Honor and Respect all of those brave men and women that made (and continue) sacrifices to support our freedom.

We hope that when you visit, you will take a moment and give a "Salute" to our veterans of past, present and future."
